The Changemakers Workshop
The Changemakers Workshop helps young people recognize that they don't have to wait to make a difference in their communities. Through interactive activities, real-world examples, and hands-on learning, participants explore issues they care about and learn how to turn their ideas into meaningful action.
Through this program young people learn how to:
- Identify an issue or opportunity for change in their community
- Understand the people and perspectives connected to that issue
- Develop an idea for how they can make a difference
- Use their voice, story, and creativity to bring others into their vision
- Create a realistic plan for taking action
Whether they want to organize an event, start a campaign, create a community project, advocate for an issue, or simply find a way to get involved, Changemakers gives young people a starting point—and the confidence to take their first step.
