Youth Advocates for Change is a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to impact the next generation of change makers through community centered art, creativity and innovation.
High School students are best engaged when they are able to showcase their talents and passions while feeling good about doing it. How do we know this? We were and are those students! Our team is reflective of the people we serve. Youth Advocates for Change is an entirely Gen-Z led organization focused on creating the opportunities for youth representation in all expansive ways instead of waiting for them to appear.
Students pitch our team ideas that will impact a space of intersectionality between social justice and a passion project. From there, we assist them with financial resources, mentorship and a like minded community to help them execute their event or project. We know its essential we as an organization are the vehicle for students achieving success, though we aren't the ones in the driver seat. Students who take the initiative to create a project and follow it through are the change makers who we aim to empower with ongoing support in order to prepare them to merge social change and impact within any given career they may choose.
Every student deserves a safe space to cultivate impactful projects and events that will help their community.
